Meet Our Snakes

Snakes are great for any event.  Many of our snakes are happy to bask out in the sun on those hot summer days, so there's no limitation on indoor or outdoor events.

Native to: Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Libya, Chad, Niger, Yemen, Tanzania, and Somalia

Diet: Frozen/thawed fuzzy mice
Origin: Purchased from a local breeder: Piedtopia
Status: Active Ambassador

Native to: Honduras, Nicaragua, and parts of Costa Rica.
Diet: Frozen/thawed fuzzy mice
Origin: Purchased from a breeder and educational service in Oregon, Brad's World Reptiles

Origin: Natasha was a personal pet of Alex prior to the establishment of Ferrets and Friends, LLC.  She has been engaged in ambassador work since 2014 and is the easiest snake to handle for those who are new to snakes.

Origin: Purchased from a breeder in Arizona, BADD Reptiles

​Diet: Frozen/thawed medium rats
Origin: Devon has had three previous owners before she was rehomed with us!  Ball Pythons are commonly rehomed due to their long lifespan and larger size.
​Status: Active Ambassador

Species: Brazilian Rainbow Boa
Year of birth: 2014
Native to: Central and South America
​Diet: Frozen/thawed small rats
Origin: Maria was a personal pet of Alex prior to the establishment of Ferrets and Friends, LLC.  Maria was purchased as a baby from Petco and developed great temperament through regular handling.

Species: Colombian Red-tail Boa
Year of birth: 2016
Native to: Central and South America
​Diet: Frozen/thawed large rats
Origin: Thor comes to us from a breeder, Reppe Reptiles. We wanted an older boa constrictor with an established temperament that was calm, friendly, and not easily stressed.  He has been the perfect fit for us!
​Status: Active Ambassador
