Behind the Scenes: Animal Care and Training

When we can't bring our animals to you, let us bring you to them! These packages allow you to see our animals in ways that you never would at our live performances. In the safety and comfort of their own spaces, we invite you to take part of their care and learn more about your favorite animal friends. Using the Zoom platform, we can invite you and up to 15 guests to take part in these unique experiences. Our animal educators will teach you about the animals and answer any questions you may have. You can feel free to combine packages.
$50 for 15 minutes $75 for 20 minutes $100 for 30 minutes $125 for 40 minutes $180 for 60 minutes Available Options and Recommended Time Packages: Small Mammal Care: This features a chinchilla dust bath or training session, bunny fresh food feeding, and hedgehog enrichment or feeding (30 minutes recommended) Parrot Care: This features our colorful parrots during their training session or feeding time. Our macaw parrot has been trained to say "hi" when she sees a friendly hand waving motion. Would you like to help us teach her to apply this behavior to virtual visits too? (20-30 minutes recommended) Ferret Care: This features a training session with our ferret friends. This experience may feature a special guest, our cat Peach, who sometimes enjoys training with the ferrets. (20 minutes recommended) Tortoise Care: This features our pair of red-footed tortoises during their feeding time. An animal handler will teach about the differences between turtles and tortoises among other fun facts. (15-20 minutes recommended) Tegu Care: This features our Tegu lizard during feeding time. While she is normally fed whole prey items that are frozen and thawed, we can offer her a selection of chicken, eggs, fish, or fruits. (15-20 minutes recommended) |
