It can be tough planning the perfect party for the animal lover in your life. Our packages are broken down based on how many and what types of animals are included. Our cold-blooded animals include frogs, salamanders, tortoises, lizards, and snakes. Our warm blooded animals include ferrets, chinchillas, rabbits, hedgehogs, dwarf rats, doves, and parrots. Invertebrates (such as millipedes and tarantulas) are not included in the total number of animals and are available for any show that includes other cold-blooded animals.
- Reptiles can be found in all packages except the "Fuzzy & Feathers" package.
- Ferrets can be found in all packages except the "Smart & Simple" package.
- Chinchillas/Hedgehog/Rats can be found in all packages except the "Smart & Simple" package.
- Bunnies are only available in two packages ("Pet & Play", "Fuzzy & Feathers"). Age limit (6+) and additional fees apply.
- Parrots can be found in all packages except the "Smart & Simple" package. All parrots have a bite risk if animal handler instructions are ignored. Ringneck Doves are also available and have no bite risk.
- The large Macaw Parrot is only available in the "BIG Experience" package in order to prevent work fatigue, but our other large animals (boa constrictor and tegu lizard) can be added to standard packages with an upgrade fee. The bird version of the "Pet & Play" package may include the large macaw if her schedule allows.
"Smart & Simple"This is our most basic reptile show package. It includes a total of seven reptiles or amphibians. This show has the quality that you would expect from Ferrets and Friends with a budget that is more friendly for your wallet.

"Animal Sampler"Our most popular package includes a little bit of everything! With seven animals, we include amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, and birds. Our animal educator will provide a memorable experience!

"Art & Animals"Combining a love of art and animals, this package provides a fun art activity using live animal models. It includes up to three animals. Art supplies are provided.

"Pet & Play"We have remodeled our Pet & Play package. If you previously booked this package, you may like our Fuzzy & Feathers package which has returned. Our new Pet & Play package features an in-depth experience with just one category of animals (for example bird-themed, snake-themed, or a ferret play party).

"Fuzzy & Feathers"This package features only mammals and birds. Due to these animals being temperature sensitive and/or flighted, this package is only offered indoors within temperature controlled environments. We recommend small groups for best level of interaction.

"The BIG Experience"Our largest package includes at least ten animals. Typically this includes seven cold blooded animals and three warm blooded animals. Please include an indoor location if you would like to include animals that are flighted or temperature sensitive.

Our Calendar and Availability
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, many organizations like Ferrets and Friends, LLC, have gone out of business or have suspended services. As one of the few surviving organizations, our calendar has been filling up more than usual. To reduce requests for bookings on dates that we are unavailable, we have added this calendar so that you may be able to see if your desired date and time would likely be available. If we are unavailable and you are seeking a reptile show, we recommend reaching out to Fangs, Frogs, and More!. If we are unavailable and you are seeking a petting zoo with some fluffy friends, we recommend Cowboy Barry. If you are aware of another service that you would like to recommend that travels to the MD/DC/VA area, please let us know so that we can add them to our list of recommendations.
